Kiev will become new "tourist Mecca"?

It is expected, that up to 2010 the stream of foreign tourists to Kiev will increase in 6 times, and domestic - in three. With such parameters the Central administrative board of a municipal services of city operates by preparation of the concept of excursion activity in Kiev. Incomes of city of tourism for last six years have made almost billion grivnas, only in the last year  the enterprises of a hotel economy have directed to budgets of all levels 237 million 323 thousand grivnas. And the volume of the services given by the enterprises of  Tourist branch in 2006, made 2 billion 77 million grivnas, that it is almost twice more, than in 2005.

Now in capital of Ukrain 121 enterprises of a hotel economy function. Profile management has developed the project of the program of creation of a network of small hotels of Kiev within the limits of which it is planned to develop the scheme of accommodation of small hotels and to allocate 60-70 corresponding places under construction. The first 28 new buildings spaciousness nearby 2000 persons is planned to open already up to 2010 Besides for maintenance of interesting and substantial excursion activity are developed the special programs for family tourism and schoolboys.
