In Kiev resumed construction of the Hilton hotel

GC St Sophia Homes has resumed construction of 24-storey hotel complex with residential apartments on blvd. Shevchenko, 28/30 in Kiev, the operator of the hotel part of which will make Hilton Hotels Corporation.

According to the chairman of the group of companies St Sophia Homes Constantine Pivovarova, the resumption of construction on the facility was made possible as a result of receiving the loan.

It was also noted that the 2010 investment in the construction of the hotel will be around 150-200 million UAH. By the end of last year investment in the project amounted to about 180 million UAH. For the current year is scheduled full completion of the construction of monolithic framework, the beginning of work on the facades and some internal work.

Construction of the total area of about 58 thousand square meters. m, started in 2007. The project involves placement of the hotel to 257 rooms from the first to the ninth floor, the remaining floors - 93 residential apartments, which planned to sell the property. Also in the complex is planned to build three-tiered underground parking.

Earlier, St Sophia Homes has reported plans to introduce into service a hotel complex in 2011. Agreement with the international operator Hilton Hotels Corporation to manage the hotel part of the complex for 25 years from the date of commissioning was signed in 2006.

Recall the construction of hotels is one of the main conditions of the Euro 2012 finals in Ukraine and the European Championships in Kiev in particular.
